1107 Marginal Road

Anchoring the new arts and culture district, the Port Campus (1107 Marginal Road) is a successful brown-field development that incorporates most of the original warehouse structure while housing safe and efficient teaching spaces. Students, artists and the community at large are benefitting from the experience and precision of this modern industrial setting.The uninterrupted view of the harbour from its second floor studios through 172 feet of glass curtain wall is without doubt the best in Halifax.

Where can I park?

The Halifax Seaport has ample parking. There is a pay and display lot in front of Pier 20 (The Seaport Market), and another in front of Pier 22 and 23. Additionally, there is metered parking along Marginal Road.

5163 Duke Street

Our Fountain Campus (5163 Duke Street) is housed in the Historic Properties district, adjacent to the scenic boardwalks of Halifax Harbour. The Victorian terrace-style campus – the only one of its kind in North America – is an interconnected row of 19 former merchant shops and warehouses bounded by Hollis and Duke Streets and the cobblestone Granville pedestrian terrace. Full of character and many mysterious nooks and stairwells, the interiors are open, rugged and hospitable, and have adapted well to varied needs.

Where can I park?

While there is metered street parking along Duke Street, Barrington Street, and Granville Street, parking can be limited. There are two lots nearby, Impark Parking at 1815 Upper Water Street, and Scotia Square parking on Abermarle Street.

1649 Brunswick Street

The Academy Campus (1649 Brunswick Street) is a beautiful historic space built in 1878 as a high school. Housing 鶹’s Film Program, it is the first degree-granting film school east of Montreal. Within the building you will find edit suits, studio space, sound rooms, a screening room, animation facilities, and faculty offices.

Individual visits.

Prospective 鶹 students are encouraged to visit our campus and meet with an admissions representative. Visits may be arranged on an individual basis through the Office of Admissions, please email

Group visits.

The Office of Admissions can accommodate larger tour groups (maximum 20 students) on a case-by case-basis. Please contact the Office of Admissions for further details email

Kids groups.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate tours for children who are in elementary school. We encourage you to contact the School of Extended Studies to learn about art classes and camps that are available for children under the age of 14.
